Example of a 5-night and 4-day fishing trip:
To reach Gap, we recommend flying to Paris and taking a high-speed train to Grenoble (duration of 3 hours), where our driver will be waiting for you with their Mercedes taxi and will take you to our operations center in Gap (duration of 1 hour and 50 minutes).
You can also fly to Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport (Nice); Saint Exupéry Airport (Lyon), or Marseille Provence Airport (Marseille), where our driver will greet you and transfer you to the hotel in a journey of 2 to 2.5 hours.
Start of ground transportation services: transfer to the town of Gap where we conduct our guided fishing trips.
You’ll settle in the hotel, have dinner, and rest.
Guided day from our hotel Les Olivades in Gap. We’ll fish in a different river or stream each day.
7:00am – breakfast.
7:30am – meeting the guide at the hotel and transfer by vehicle to the fishing area. Guided fishing in alpine rivers and streams.
12:30pm – Picnic meal.
Fishing in the afternoon and return to the hotel.
Dinner and rest.
Transfer by taxi to the airport or train station in Grenoble or other cities such as Marseille, Paris, Monaco…

Our guided fly-fishing trips in the Hautes-Alpes department, just 2 hours from the Côte d’Azur, take place in a fantastic fishing destination, surrounded by stunning landscapes and magnificent rivers ideal for fly-fishing for brown zebra trout, rainbow trout, and brook trout.
Our trips are centered around two bases of operation: the Hotel “Les Olivades” and the Château de Picomtal, both located near the Ecrins National Park. The former is situated in Gap, and the latter is 40 minutes from Gap, in the town of Crots.

Les Olivades hotel, is the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing as a couple. An elegant place with excellent wines, a swimming pool, and very good food! You’ll have access to some of the best fishing spots in the French Alps and its outer mountains from our hotel strategically located for great fishing.
Located just 5 minutes from downtown Gap, this family hotel counts with 19 charming and comfortable rooms. These modern, spacious, soundproof and 100% non-smoking rooms are equipped with AC, flat screen TV, free high-speed Wi-Fi, CANAL + tv channel, and courtesy trays which will satisfy your every need for relaxation.

The restaurant opens its doors at 6:30am for breakfast and at 7:30pm for dinner.

CHÂTEAU DE PICOMTAL
The Château de Picomtal is a historic gem nestled in the heart of the French Alps, blending elegance and comfort within a stunning setting.
